Global Institute of Logistics i Birmingham

Global Institute of Logistics er en New York baseret „økonomisk uafhængigt organisation“  der blev stiftet i 2003 af medlemmerne af Global Logistics Forum.

Institutet blev iværksat med baggrund i at branchen havde behov for et selskab der kan repræsentere hele forsyningskæden og dermed alle interessenterne i processen.

Global Institute of Logistics tager initiativ til samarbejde mellem interesenterne i den globale logistik industri and agerer også som et center for vidensdeling i branchen.

GIL annual meeting in Birmingham

Global management consulting and executive search group Experts for Experts (e4e) joined forces with the Global Institute of Logistics (GIL)in Birmingham, UK on November 2nd  to combine e4e’s 28th global partner meeting with GIL’s annual European dinner.

With representatives from more than 20 countries, attendees covered a broad spectrum of transportation and logistics sectors from ports and shippers to forwarders and manufacturers. 

Bøgetorp Business Development was this year invited and partner Preben Møller Nielsen had the pleasure to participating in the event.

The Global Institute of Logistics is a New York-based not-for-profit organization founded in 2003 by the members of the Global Logistics Forum.

The Institute was formed in response to a need for a single body to represent the views of the entire supply chain and as such is made up of representatives of all stakeholders in the process.

It actively fosters and promotes collaboration amongst stakeholders in the global logistics community and also acts as a learning centre for a growing community of multinational corporations, third party logistics providers and their supply chain partners.
